  • Pest Control

    • Will the products stain my floors or furniture?
No. The products are water-based and can only leave a stain if water will leave a stain.
    • Why am I seeing more pest activity after my service?
Depending on the product used, time of year, and type of infestation, it is common to see an increase in activity for a short time following service. Baiting products are actually designed to attract pests to the product so they can take it back and feed it to the rest of the family. The increase in activity will subside over time as more pests die from feeding on the bait. Increased pest sightings are also common after service because the pests are exposed to a product that is an irritant.
    • What types of pest control services do you offer?

    • What is the best way to prevent pests from invading my home?
It is much easier to keep bugs out of a house then it is to get rid of them once they’re in. Seal any cracks and holes on the outside of the home, including areas where utilities and pipes enter the home. Check all windows and door frames. Screen vents and openings to chimneys. Keep attics, basements and crawl spaces well ventilated and dry. Repair fascia, soffits and rotted roof shingles, some insects are drawn to deteriorating wood. Replace loose mortar and weather-stripping around the foundation and windows. Clean away weeds and leaves from the perimeter of your home. If you suspect a pest infestation in your home, contact Innovative to inspect and treat the pest problem.
    • What can I do to help protect my home from pests?
Our Advantage Protection plans offer the best protection with this in mind for your home. We will perform a complete pest checkup and treatment inside & outside your home on your initial service. Our Quarterly perimeter treatment will begin thereafter. If pests return between visits, so do we at no additional charge! Advantage Plan selection will determine the insects covered in your service plan and will be indicated on your Service Agreement.
